I'm looking at buying a 04 SDF250 with the FX4 package so far I like what I have seen its got a 5.4 and while the trucks heavy and its more noticable in the 5.4 more but I'm still diggin it.Anyone have anything to say about the 5.4 in a Super Duty?Know of any Major issues?

Do you plan on towing with it? If so I would find at least a V10 if not a diesel. you will regret not doing so. You will probably not see a decrease in Gas Milage with the V10.

Yes I will use it for the occasional tow at first and then more on later the only thing I will be trailering will be a fullsize bronco or a wrangler,or so I think.

I would still have to urge you to find one with a bigger engine. It might tow fine on a level highway but as soon as you hit a hill you will kick yourself for not getting the bigger motor...Trust me...I know:doah: Now Ive got a diesel and LOVE it... Way better than 350 I used to tow with.
