I just bought a used F250 PSD. I like the truck quite a bit. I come from a GM and Jeep background so maybe what I'm about to explain is a 'Fordism' or similar? I live in Utah and it's starting to get a little chilly here (I think it was 25 last night). Anyway, I had a pretty good load of frost on my windshield this morning.
I started my truck and let it warm up a little (3-4 minutes). The engine temp was just starting to come up and I was getting a little heat out of the heater. However, my power locks wouldn't work to open the door (had someone steal my truck a while ago--and it'd be that much easier if I let it idle in the driveway without it being locked), the turn signals didn't work (Hazard lights did, though) and a couple other 'funny' electrical issues.
After driving for about 5 miles or so, I suddenly had turn signals and everything was back to normal. I have two new batteries and clean terminals.
Question: Is there a 'master' ground or something that I could look at that might control some of the interior electrical systems that I could check out?
