Whoa!!...Now there is a trailer full!....Cool! waytogo Do you wheel that crew cab?

My 3500 : Airlift rear bags, MBRP 4" exhaust, relocated breather bottle, Automter Sport Comp fuel pressure, boost, and EGT gauges on a triple pillar pod, Powr-Lok rear, 3.54's. On order : Scotty II and a Scotty Smartfuel kit. Bomb plans : MAD ECM - maybe stacked with an EZ (not sure yet) and a set of Don M's Mach 1.6 injectors. That will probably be it for fueling mods (I heard that before! ) as I would like to stick with the stock HX35 on this truck. That should be good for 350 RWHP and around 750+ ft/lbs - definately the limit of the HX35 (ok, maybe slightly past the limit...we'll see)

My 2500 : Custom ground #100 plate, 3000GSK, laser cut 191 DV's, 16* pump timing, honed 370's, 16cm non waste gated exhaust housing, MBRP 4" exhaust, Afe BHAF, Autometer Sport Comp trans temp, boost and EGT gauges, custom built auto w/BD X-converter and Transgo VB kit, lukeslinked track bar, Powr-Lok rear, 3.54's.

I wish that truck was mine ! That Crew Cab belongs to my partner in crime John Sweet ( NVRENUF to all the CK5 folks ). We were heading out to one of the Indy Jambories when that shot was taken.
That truck is his daily driver so it does not get beat on but it is capable - 4.56 gears, Detroit Locker, Etc..... just standard equipment every 4WD truck needs.

3.73 Gears, Short Box, Quad-Cab

WHAT MODS - 2" Leveling Kit, LT315s, ElectricSteps, Edge EZ, Issapro EGT, Boost, TransTemp...Fuel Pressure soon. Access Tonneau...

Future plans call for B&W Turnover Ball, DTT 48RE overhaul w/ ChroMo Imput/Output Shafts as well as flexplate, TST PowerMax CR, stud-kit, w/ new valve springs/guides and a nice single Turbo or Twins with Scotty Air System...I should be divorced by then

Robbie,

I'm BurbinOR from CK5, sold the TPI K5 a couple of years ago, went to a Burb, sold it last year when my commute went from 5 minutes to 25 miles. Live in Gresham, Oregon.

Bought my '01.5 Dodge 2500 SBQC 10 months ago, never looked back. Getting close to 20mpg, put an Edge EZ on it, muffler deleted, BHAF monster, doing the 47RE upgrade on Monday. Then injectors, maybe a swapout to the Catcher ECM instead of the EZ. Should be enough (yeah, right!) but even what I have now is plenty of power.............what I love about the EZ is it is docile until you stomp on it, then hang on.

Oh, and straight piped is great unless you have the window's open and the loud pedal wide open.

Does that mean you are running aftermarket injectors also? What brand? My brother's friend lost 6-7 mpg swapping in a set of big hp injetors.

I also use the Powerservice additive. The white bottle works well (cold weather use), but I have better luck with the grey bottle stuff. Powerservice can turn the worst running fuel into something special.

hey nastee i have a 05 with a power pup ive towed a boat that weighs in at around 2500 lbs on extreme and no problems i have a 6 speed too not a auto if that makes a difference, now im not recomending that but just letting ya know i was going up some nice grades too near branson missouri and as long as i was sensible the temps were too. the most ive hauled on extreme was around 5-6000 lbs but that was on flat land and only for about 10 miles. still no problems. ive got 43,000 on my truck and everything is in good shape as far as tranny and engine is concerned and ive had it on the extreme mode for tha majority of the time ive had it. as far as hurting your truck not sure but i know if soemthing happens none of the downloaders are invisible, the smarty box i guess is invisible to the computers at the dealerships and others are not but either way from what ive read when you push the levels of fuel up in the cylinder it burns a mark or something in the cylinder from the xtra fuel and they can tell that way. like i said before dont recomend doin the extreme thig because bully dog says not to tow on anything besides tow but thats my experiance so far.

Hey thanks for the info, I maintain mine on performance and tow in the tow/econ mode, just to be safe. I get on average of 18.5 per gal. I rarely stomp on the gas pedal, however, when I do the black smoke is rolling out the back.

hey nastee i have a 05 with a power pup ive towed a boat that weighs in at around 2500 lbs on extreme and no problems i have a 6 speed too not a auto if that makes a difference, now im not recomending that but just letting ya know i was going up some nice grades too near branson missouri and as long as i was sensible the temps were too. the most ive hauled on extreme was around 5-6000 lbs but that was on flat land and only for about 10 miles. still no problems. ive got 43,000 on my truck and everything is in good shape as far as tranny and engine is concerned and ive had it on the extreme mode for tha majority of the time ive had it. as far as hurting your truck not sure but i know if soemthing happens none of the downloaders are invisible, the smarty box i guess is invisible to the computers at the dealerships and others are not but either way from what ive read when you push the levels of fuel up in the cylinder it burns a mark or something in the cylinder from the xtra fuel and they can tell that way. like i said before dont recomend doin the extreme thig because bully dog says not to tow on anything besides tow but thats my experiance so far.

Trying to find a good leveling kit for my 06 2500, don't want to spend a ton. Should I level the truck or just leave it alone...

im lookin into a lift too(possibly the kore hd) i would like 34-35" tires but dont want to lift to high will a 2" lift clear the 35's? another question is how wide of a tire can ya go on a stock rim i have 17x8 rims the tires i was lookin at said you need 8.5-9.5 and the rims that i was lookin at are 17x10 so im a half inch off either way if it doesnt matter i just assume keep the stockers and save soem loot if i can.

you can fit 35's on it from the factory. you can put 12.50's or more on the factory wheel. mine has 35 12.50's on the stock rims. and the tires were on before the lift.

dont level your truck read the kore suspension thread in the 3rd gen forum bout 4054x4's truck. if you want it to look better the kore leveling kit is the only worth while kit but the recon from kore is the best idea for this situation.

4054x4 truck is an 05 2500 and he had the revtek leveling kit on it and had death wobble out the wazoo so he took it off but had 35's on his truck still and said there was absolutely no rubbing after the kit was removed.

no they dont rub one bit. the 03 and up dodge 4x4's will all fit 35's, actually most all years before 03 will fit 35's factory also. its thanks to the coil suspension. and its really not a very tight squeeze either. ull have room to spare when their in there.
