When you plug in the trailer in to the truck is the light soposed to glow green, because mine is not lit untill I step on the brake and then the light illuminates. Every thing else seams to work ok.

My light glows green when the trailer is attached and then changes to bright orange when I step on the brake. Try reading this...It might help

Thanks for the link. It seams as though I should be able to activate the trailer brakes by the slider alone, which I can not, I first have to step on the brake pedel to activate it. The truck came from the factory wired for the tow package, but bolth trailers Ive pulled I have done the wiring my self, but every thing seems to work fine, The grounds for the brakes are grounded through the plug on the negative. Mabye its a faulty controler?:confused:

Huh...You should be able to apply the brakes with the slider alone. Try calling Tekonshas tech line and see what they say.
