I'm needing new tires on my truck and I want your opinions. I have 285/75 on it now and I want to put 305/70s on it. I'm looking at some remington mud brutes at $550 for a set.

What kind of tires do you run?

I just bought the Nitto Terra Grapplers a couple months ago for the Burb. I have been very satisfied with them. I wanted a all-terrain tire with good street manors. I had my choices narrowed down to BFG All-Terrain, Nitto Terra Grappler, and Bridgestone Dueler REVO AT. I got the best deal on the Nittos at Discount Tire Direct online with free shipping (and no tax). IIRC I had about $550 invested in all 4 tires mounted and balanced (265/75/16).

I've got a set of nearly new Michelin LTX M/S 265's that I bought locally for $280. I wanted to lift my Dodge about 3" and go with a set of 305 BFG M/T's on Weld 16x10 Torque Locks but things change sometimes.:)

Just installed a set of LT265/75/16 Uniroyal Laredo HD/H Commercial truck tires. They are highway tread and I got them for $105 per tire here at work. Jus couldn't see spending that much money on the Michelins again. The Uniroyals ride real smooth. :)

Well I've been busy lately with the planting season, but got rained out today. I went and bought a set of discoverer s/t 305/70/16. I really like these tires they are more of a cross between all-terrain and full mud. I hope I get good mileage out of them.

I've had really good luck with the ProComp Muds. They are extreamly quiet for a mud tire. I'm also running the BFG Muds on the Sub and they too are also fairly quiet but they are also new. 6 older ProComps sounding the same as the 4 new BFG's IMO.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO's here, I used to be strictly Michelins but these tires are even betterwaytogo

Here is a good place to check the Bridgestone's and others that has reviews from the tire owners....

For towing I loved the Michilens(sp) that came on my truck 265/75R16's and I got great mileage out of them . For looks and general usage I put on a set of BFG AT's 315/75R16's and I love them too.
