Saturday I am installing laminate flooring in our home and my wife comes up to me and says... "You remember my friends so and so, well they need to take your diesel to pick up a refrigerator. I am leaving as I need to go sell a house and they will be by to pick up your truck in a little while..OK?"
First I was in shock =
Then I busted up = rotfl
and my final comment = HELL NO! What are freakin crazy ..Bla Bla bla
I mean come on, I love my wife and all but she just can't go around offering up my rig to everyone that 'needs' a pickup....
So what would you guys say to that if your wife said that too you?

My wife is trained well enough not to even think about her even driving the truck let alone her friends.
I would never let anyone take my baby.

I doubt I would be that polite. But then again my wife knows, NOBODY drives my truck but me...

If they were good friends my wife might ask me to pick up the refrigerator for them. But drive my truck no way.

First I would have to explain to my little laidy that I would never in a million years let one of her dingy friends take my brand new $45K truck to go pick up a refrigerator. Then I could continue with " I didn't buy my new expensive truck for eveyone else to use that probably don't give a rip about my property.

My wife wouldn't even offer it, she knows better than that. She would, however, offer my help in picking up a fridge without asking me first.:doah:

Mine probly would have done it that way if I wasn't in the middle of instaling the floors. Now she knows that she cannot seporate me and my rig..package dealwaytogo
Shagg ~ now that you have your rig home it may be in your best intrest to lay down the ground rules so that you arn't assuming you know what your wife is thinking. If you haven't already hehehehehe, They mean well but sometimes they just need a helpful reminder about "The Rig Rules".waytogo

LOL! Mine might well do that too...
"Honey, don't sit down, you need to go over to Whoozits house and take them to get their new refrigerator. It was going to cost them $25 to get it delivered, but I told them not to waste their money, you could pick it up for them tonight. Oh, and take your dolly and cargo blankets, they don't have any. And don't let her husband help too much he has back problems. But don't worry, I'll warm up your supper in the microwave when you get back."
@@#%%#$%@ 22/#@%#, I'll pay the freaking $25 just to sit down and eat my supper! rotfl rotfl rotfl

Yeah, I may have to do that but I'm really not worried about it. She would think nothing of offering me along with the truck.rotfl

No, I'm saying that she WOULD offer me along with the truck, many times she has offered my services without asking, for people who are moving or who bought furniture and needed help moving it or picking it up and stuff like that. I had the S-10 before so I could get fridges and stuff before now, I just didn't look nearly as manly doing it.rotfl
