Long story short, one of my taillights was damaged by an unfortunate run-in with the concrete approach to my driveway and it caused an internal short which in-turn blew a a fuse in my Dodge. I pulled the taillight housing appart and fixed the short, but at the expense of the whole side-marker/side-blinker bulb & circuit having to be removed.

So, although the tail light is functional now, I'd like to replace my tail lights with better units.... I'm thinking LED?? :D

Where do I even start to look for parts? Do we have any vendors on here?

Thanks!

the back room in my shop......
Actually I have found truck stops can be cheaper than parts stores. Run out to the Flying J on your way out to Joe's next time and see what they have to offer. Otherwise in Billings check out Motor Power (KW), I-State (Freightliner), Inland Truck, maybe TNT Spring and the parts stores. I saw a cool light display at I state the other day when I was in there. One thing to remember LEDs don't melt the snow away as well as regualr bulbs if that is a concern but they are alot sweeter in every other aspect. When I do my gooseneck re-wiring I plan on a LED and regular on each side just using those 5" self contaned lights.

Pretty reasonable compared to the local part stores and trucking supply shops.
