Is there a turbo silencing ring on a d-max like there is on a cummins? If so is it as easy to take off? Just curious.

From what I've read, no.

I hope not, if there were I would have already taken it off. I'm looking for ways to make my Turbo as loud as possible. :D

From what the technically smart guys tell me, no. We D-max owners have nothing that is removable. The only way to get louder is to go to an aftermarket intake kit.
Myself, I've read to much that says that most aftermarket filter kits do not filter as well as the stock does. I've also read about issues caused by oil from the filter coating the MAF senor and screwing things up.

There are a lot of companies making dry filters now for CAI's. I think GM may even make one.
