I heard you can get some sort of Valet switch'em'a'bobber for the 12v to cut power for what ever reason.
What is it? What does it do? And how does it do it?:D

It replaces the guts of the AFC housing (the device which controls how much fuel is fed to the motor according to how much boost is being produced) Instead of having a fixed ratio of fuel to boost, the valet switch lets the driver change this ratio on the fly so that max fueling can begin with little boost, or alot of boost. I believe there are 2 or 3 different types of "Valet switches" out there, I know Piers sells a kit, and TST might also.

So is this an effective way to hold back some power when some one is towing or trying to save on fuel?

If you are towing or trying to save fuel you just don't use all of the go-pedal....

On many valet switches, it'll cut the power to less than stock, unless you have 370's or bigger.
