Anytime you increase HP it will increase your boost, 50 additional HP will increase your boost approximately 5PSI. I would recommend the BD Intimidator Tuner, it has 4 levels up to 130HP. That way you can choose the second level of performance which is 50 HP. The Intimidator is a very easy Install, will allow you to adjust for larger tires, eliminate the top speed limiter if that is an important to you and will improve fuel economy.

It sells for 425.00US, click here for more innformation.

ok so if i bought the tuner and the moniter , is that all i would need to keep my truck running smooth and have alo of hp.

Yes that is a great set up, pretty much what I am running except =I run manual gauges, I am a race car guy and like analog gauges even though they cost more, take up so much more space and I give up features that the X-monitor offers like visual alarms and maximum value readings etc...

Also the nice thing about the d-max is the Allison tranny is more than capable of handling that kind of upgrade so that's really all you need, you will not need tranny mods. I do recommend a high flow, re-usable air filter if you have not already done so, K&N or something, we do stock them as well

Hope this helps

Be very careful of using added boost when towing. The cooling system is sensitive to the added heat output of the CAC.

Stock is 33.5 psi absolute at 3000 rpm. subtract your specific ambient pressure. If near the ocean, subtract 14.4. 80% of the population is at 14 to 14.4 psi. So 19.5 psi at the plenum. This is equivalent to 22-23 psi at the compressor discharge.
