466 in a 2006 IH with 210 miles on it puked ALL the oil out of the pan and onto the windsheild, cab and ground
high pressure oil line blew off the pump.
would you let the dealer fix it and clal it good, or would you try to get them to do somethign further in case it did damage the engine, but likely didnt.

It's not very likely it hurt the engine, they hold around 26qts. Usually by the time you shut it off, you'd have 4 or so actual qts that sprayed out. Dealer is the place to take it. IH has one of the best dealer networks in our country.

it lost ALOT.
i followed a 800' trail or oil about 2 feet wide on the main road which led to the side road where the truck was parked at when i got there.....
