This ad on the side of the page. Ford or Chevy? What about Dodge, are they not a truck, or are they in a different catagory (ie. Mack, Autocar, Peterbuilt):stir:

I thought I had a truck, perhaps not.

If they offered a Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge deal that would have been great but they didn't. Maybe everyone knows Dodge would have come in 1st place and the Ford vs Chevy is to find out who is 2nd and 3rd. rotfl :D

My guess is it's some sort of survey aimed at a wide audience with fairly "uneducated" people. For years and years it's always been "Ford vs. Chevy."

You have to remember, years ago Dodge pickups were an economy line and were in some ways inferior to the Fords and GM's. Ever remember some of those 70's trucks before the 1st gen Cummins Dodge body style?

The Dodges were cheaper, and you got what you payed for. While the drivetrains probably weren't all that different, the bodies were ugly as ugly could be and the interiors/features just weren't up to snuff with the nicer GM's and Fords. This is just what I have heard and seen.

Sorry, I should clarify. uneducated automotively speaking.:D Who hasn't heard the "chevy vs. ford" comparison? My point is it's a classic question that everyone is familiar with and something more detailed might not interest less automotive interested people.
