Anybody running an aftermarket hood on their rig? I saw a 3rg gen Ram dually the other day with what looked like a factory type SRT hood, looked pretty cool/different. :pimp:

I wish I could afford a cowl induction hood. Supposed to increase airflow through the engine compartment, helping keep the engine cool. I think it would increase noise from the engine, though.

I've also seen a 3rd gen with the SRT hood, looks cool. I have seen a couple of 2nd gens with cowl hoods in person and they are very cool. I have a big cowl hood on my K5 blazer and it hurts visability, I wouldn't do it with my pickup.
Ive got a Goodmark cowl induction hood on my K5. Doenst hurt visibility at all for me, but then again i am 6'5" tall. Thinking of yanking it off though, i would hate to smash a $400 hood while wheeling when i didnt have to.
I like the SRT-10 hood on the new dodges, looks sharp. Would still rather have the 94-02 body style though.

I'm 6'4" myself but I think the Goodmarks are 2" right? Mine is 3.5" and is much wider at the cowl.
2 1/2". And i forgot about how wide yours was, i guess i could see that making a pretty good difference.
