What have you done to your rig to purely improve it's towing performance?
I'll go first. This is all on a 2004 Chevy 2500HD LB7 Duramax/Allison LT CC/SB.
I added airbags because I don't like the butt-heavy look, nor do I like bouncing off the overloads.
Changed the stock shocks to Bilsteins. Highly recoommend this for the GM crowd.
Added a Banks Six-Gun tuner. I never turn it up past 3 unless my brother is in the truck and I want to make him realize he should have bought a GM. :D
Added EGT and Boost gauges of course.
Changed out the tank to a Supertanks 60 gallon unit. What a difference. Anyone with an LB7 shortbed, you can get this tank for $500 from Supertanks right now. It is an $850 tank.
4" Summit Racing turbo-back exhaust (I never was a cat person). :D
Back seat DVD system. How does this help towing, you ask? You put two toddlers in your back seat on an 800 mile trip just once, and tell me it doesn't help YOU out.
That's all I can think of right now.
