So, I just got a new (to me) 96 PSD F350 4x4. Just wondering what problems/issues you guys have had. It's got 184K on it, with a new rebuilt tranny at 179K. Also has newer front calipers/rotors that wer upgraded to HD untis w/ vents.

Any & all advice will be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Gauges, keep an eye on EGT's and tranny temp specifically, and boost is always nice. Add a chip, and tow your heart out.

This is a buddy of mine's setup, tows with the chip on position 3 and keeps his eye on the gauges, it actually tows very well, but gets hot fast, the EGT's climb faster than the boost when you stomp on it.

Thanks. It's got a combo Boost & Pyrometer gauge. I plan on getting a tranny temp one.

BTW, nice looking tow combo. Too bad it's towing heeps :D

The front one is a 'Zuk ;)

He tows that combo all over the place weekly, not always with 2 rigs on it, but same trailer and at least the 'Zuk on it. Tows real well.

There is plenty of great diesel info here. All anyone has to do is ask.

Understand. Howevere, when you don't really know what to ask, it's nice to just read.
