has anyone installed a wicked wheel I'm not a master mechanic or anything like that. I'm pretty mechanically inclined I've done engine swaps ect.. what the question is is how hard is it is it worth pay a mechanic to to it

nope not very hard! you could do it in a saturday.

i did mine in a day bur do not forget to get new gaskets (paper ones) you can reuse the boots

Its a different compressor wheel for the 99-03 Powerstrokes. IIRC, basically its teh same wheel off the 94-97 powerstroke, and by installing this it reduce the on throttle surge you get with the stocker.

If you have an early 99...then you don't need one. The wicked wheel is the compressor wheel from an early 99 turbo. If you have a 99.5+ model...then yeah....it may be something to look at.
