View Full Version : "Towing Capacity" of 98' 3/4ton 6.5

Hey guys Im new here and in the market for a tow rig. I am looking at a 1998 Chevy 2500 (8lug) 4x4 6.5 TD AT Ex cab Long box. I am wondering what the rated towing capacity of this rig is and what the "realistic ;) " towing capacity is. Also what are some good power upgrades for this rig. Thanks guys!!

Get in touch with James Cramer on here. He has that setup and has done a lot with power and performance stuff. I think he goes by jac6695.
