Well, i have been offered a trade for my 86 k10 chevy. A guy wants to trade me a 1989 chevy 3500 crewcab dually with a 454 and 75000 miles. what do these trucks get for gas mileage? Also, what do you guys think of these trucks? I will be adding a 6" lift and some 35s if i get it. how do they tow? i will still have my 91 dodge cummins, so i can always tow with that.

which transmission does the dually have?(helps determine gas mileage)
an excellent towrig. just remember that the further you lift it the more you must drop your hitch and the less weight you can safely tow.waytogo

You should expect to get about 7-9mpg. I own one and love it.
