I KEEP HEARING ALL KINDS OF ANSWERS FROM "KNOW IT ALLS", AND I WOULD LIKE TO GET THE TRUTH FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THE DANG LAW OR JUST ENOUGH FACTS TO ANSWER MY QUESTION. I'M WANTING TO SOMEDAY START DRIVING FOR A LIVING AND I HAVE ALWAYS HEARED THAT YOU MUST BE ATLEAST 21YRS. OF AGE TO HAVE A C.D.L. AND ALSO BE BONDED/INSURED? PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY INFO. I WOULD MUCH APPRECIATE IT!

Please turn off caps. It makes it harder to read and is also considered yelling in a forum…

You can get your CDL at 18 but you can not commercially cross state lines till you are 21.
And the insurance thing... Its hard to get hauling insurance under 23 and alot of companies want you to be 25.
