In the short period I ran BFG AT's, I didn't like mine much at all. Something was wrong with either one tire, a bad balance job, or a messed up rim because my AT's and steel rims wanted to pull the truck into the ditch, had a hard pull to the right.

A few days later I put Michelins and Weld alums on and problem solved, went down the road strait with no hands on the wheel.

Can't say if my problem was the tires or the old rims.

I did notice a fair amount of noise coming from them and felt fairly stiff. I never really had a chance to try out their traction as I pulled them off a few days after buying my K30. I like my Michelin LTX M/S's a heck of a lot better, but a lot of people say the BFG A/T is a great all around tire.

I ran BFG 295/75-16's for two years before getting the new Hankook tires.
Personally, I liked them, but I found that they initailly had great wear, that is to say I didn't see much (3/32) wear over 8-9 months. Then it's like they got soft and went right down to the bars within another 3 months.

Both sets did the same thing. They were not extremely loud on the highway and had great offroad ability.

Havent put enough miles on mine to tell much about wear, but the rear of the truck they are on gets kinda squirrelly when you do a burnout... waytogo

great tire for traction, especially in the snow. I just ate them fast. I'm trying a goodyear tire that has a 50000 mile warranty on them. but that was mostly due to my lead foot.
