What are the main differences when comparing the same models?

i havent done any real in depth reaserch or anything but when i was lookin a number of years ago i know that gmc was higher and i think they had a lil nicer interior type options on them other than that im pretty sure they are identical but like i said no recent hard core reaserch on it

I just bought a Chevrolet I looked at both the only difference I could find was the grill and the gmc's were around 6 grand more for the same truck. No salesmen I talked to could give me an answer to the extra markup. I wanted a gmc for the looks but I couldn't pay that much just to get a different grill.

What are the main differences when comparing the same models?
looks and price.

just looks, same interior options, and everything else is the same and also same price, the General is a city truck and the chevy is a working mans truck :eek:
