Has anyne had problems withthe oil filter sealing on the 8.1 I did the first oil change on mine (since I have had it) and no matter what i do it still leaks. it is an 02 2500HD

are you sure that when you pulled the old filter off that it did'nt leave part of its rubber oring behind. also did you oil the new rubber gasket before you installed it. ( may sound belittling but basics are often overlooked at times by the best of us)

yep covered all of the basics I replaced the filter and have not had any problems since. waytogo
