Just wondering if anyone has used a bully dog tuner for a 6.0L engine?

Runnin a hypertech on my dads 2001 6.0L. You can feel the difference and it boosted MPG too. He has it on the highest 87 octane setting.

Mostly on the 6.0L we sell the Diablosport Predator. Pretty solid little unit. Either one will give you a swift kick in the but in performance.

Well, I went ahead and purchased the Bully Dog for my 6.0 gasser shortly after posting this. After a few months of running with the newly programmed ECM I have to say I am very pleased. I used the most mild program of the three choices the programmer offered so I would still be using 87 octane to keep fuel costs low. I am able to maintain a good 5-7 mph faster on hill climbs and onramp acceleration is greatly improved. The trans. also stays in OD much more and rarely has to downshift to third while climbing. The slightly firmer shifts are also a welcome and I'm sure that is one reason the acceleration is quicker. The best part about this is I did not loose any fuel economy, both while towing and while solo. I have done about 5K towing miles with the new program using both my car trailer and my camper and I notice the power gains with both.

I will rekindle your thread if thats ok, No complaints? OK here it goes.

Are any of the programmers better than the other for either power or gas mileage. I have been looking into the bully dog triple but I am curious about the others? Anyone see a major difference with thier choices? Thanks
