My brother-in-law just bought a 2003 Ranger 4x4 with a 2.0 engine and says he gets very poor gas milage and was wondering what he could do to improve it. I haven't been around gas engines for quite a few years so I was no help to him but I told him I knew some people that could.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than buy a treal truck with a dieselrotfl Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess I made a mistake in the engine size as he was takling about two vehicles at the same time> He apparently has a 4.0L engine instead of the 2.0.
