Hi all,

I have a load that needs to be picked up in AR (72324) and delivered to me in CA (95683). It is a fairly light load (est. under 5k lbs), but needs 34'. Where would you guys recommend I post the load and what do you fellas figure it should be costing me? BTW, the load is a feeder and two aerators (www.housemfg.com).

Thanks in advance for the help.

Michael

For a real hot shot hauler I would guess it should be $3-3500. Thats a bunch of miles (almost 2100).

it definitely is a lot of miles and even more for me round trip. The money practically makes sense for me to do it myself, but the time away from ongoing projects here does not make it feasible.

At $3k, a hotshotter would have a load from me waytogo

Thannks for the reply.

Hiya nelson - thanks for the reply. I am curious about those numbers as the absolute highest bid thus far has been 4900. (total). The other 3 are 2900. to 3900. (totals).

Not trying to offend you but more or less letting you know where others are at as well. Also curious how it pencils out.

Thanks.

Minimum of $2.10 per mile - one way miles 2.10 x 2086 miles = $4300
25% x line haul is the fuel service charge
14% x line haul is insurance

Oil field rates are rather high though.
