My roommate has a 93 6.5 TD chevy and I have tring to find ways to make it have more power. Not much is said on upgrades on a 6.5, especially the 93 which has a mechanical inj pump. Anyone here have any tips?

I have been wondering the same thing. i just bought my 6.5. jac6695 has one and he has done some mods to it. I have heard that he might be a good source of information. I know Banks Performance makes a stinger kit for the 6.5 and heath diesel as well. I dont know anything about heath's stuff but I know banks makes some super high quality stuff.

the stinger kit isn't nothing spectacular though. We have already straight piped it and put a open air filter on it. Also put a bigger spring on the watsegate and get 12psi boost instead of 5-6 which was a big difference. I found larger marine injectors for it that add a few pony but thats about all.
