So I am at a stop light and look over and see a newer Vette to my left, think hmmm, I pull away normal and he does the same, I go a tad faster, he does the same, so I say to myself, HIT IT! I am already doing about 30 when I hit it so I didn't have to worry about the turbo spooling up etc.
With my window down I can hear him really getting on it scratching the tires with every shift as he is just a little behind me, when I realize he is not pulling away, his Vette sounded real good by the way. Once he hits fifth gear I believe then he smokes me pretty good. I know I had a slight advantage because I hit it first but trust me he knew it was coming I just couldn't believe I hung with him for as long as I did, this time next year I take a car like that hands down. :pimp:
Sounds good. I did the same thing to one back in Feb.
He was not to happy that he couldn't stay with a big-0-truck.

I had the opportunity to run with a vette as well. Although I could not be sure of the year it was a vette with the fixed lights in the front. I know this because that is all that I saw of him in my rearview mirror. He, he. I was running an 04' with all the bells and whistles. Dynoed 512 hp and 1030 tq. It sure is fun watching others choke on diesel exhaust.

Cool, 2005 is when the fixed lights started, I love that design.

It would be fun but costly as fuel is priced to high.
