Ive hearad of people turning up injection pumps. How is it done and can it be done to a 88 7.3 idi pump and what type of pump is it I cant figure it out, is it a stanadyne. And is there any way to put a chevy p7100 pump from old 6.5 engine on to a 7.3 idi since those old pumps are king and they were put on the cummins and a 8 nozzle version on the chevys.:confused:

I have an 88 model F-350 with the pump turned up and the earlier ford diesel 6.9 injectors for a better spray. Let me tell you it runs a hell of alot better you dont need a 6.5 GM injector pump.waytogo

do you have anymore details...?? where did you have the pump turned up...??? what part # on the injectors...?? bettre or worse MPG...???
