nd a long bed. I am wondering what kind of gas mileage should I expect to get out of this? It will be my tow rig for my 88 jimmy and my wifes daily driver. I wanted a duramax but they want a little too much for them. Thanks for any help with this. It would be nice if they just posted the mileage at the dealer.

I think my wifes 03 with the 6.0 is getting around 13-14 unloaded and about 9 towing.

It is hard for our towing numbers to match others because everything around here is steep uphill and just sucks the gas down.

I get 10-11 around town, 13-14 on the highway. About 10 while towing, but like miniwally said, its pretty hilly here too, and it doesnt help that i drive like an ass with my foot in it all the time.

My 00' numbers a vertualy the same as miniwally and czar. And it is pretty flat here with rolling hills.

I get 13-14 city and 16-17.5 on the highway. Part of that is due to my chip tune. Before the tune I was getting 10-13 city and 12-16 highway.

towing 12-13 on last trip... haulin' the K5 750 Miles!!
around town about 14-15 avg. highway about 18...empty and tailgate down!!
I check every time I fill up!!
