Power Stroker

Is it possible to supercharge a diesel? If so would the motor be able to handle twin turbos and a supercharger? How many lbs of boost would I be looking at?? Comments, ideas.....:stir:

thats good solid 2 stroke technology............the supercharger has a blow through valve when the turbo takes over at higher RPM the valve creates a bypass around the blower.

the blowers are a restriction at WOT and higher RPMs, but give you quicker air off the line.

all depends on your intended application.

not really a mainstream idea for 4 stroke engines. I can build anywhere from 50-80 PSI depending on how I set up my twin turbos. You won't make more boost by throwing a blower in there, but a blower will make more boost faster down low, until the turbo lights then it's in the way......... plus it'll be a parasitic drag on the engine. meaning it will cost you horse power to turn it.

thats an 8v-92 Detroit. they've been doing that for 50 years......but its 2 stroke technology.
