ok, my 04.5 has a 3 gauge a pillar pod. i still have to install it when i get back. i will be filling it with 60PSI boost, pyro and fuel pressure. here is the problem... i will be needing an oil pressure gauge and another pyro gauge for pre turbo. what gauge pods do you like and why?

I think Auto Meter makes some good setups. YOu could add the steering column pod too.

IMO, post turbo EGT isn't something I'd want to monitor. If I did, I'd get a dual channel gauge so I could flick a switch and read the post turbo numbers.

There are steering column pods available, and some for the dash in the center. My personal favorite besides the A-pillar is the upper windshield mounts that are available for 1, 2, or 3 gauges. They go up by your rearview mirror.

I think I'm going to go with a full a pillar for two gauges, but I am also considering the windshield mount.

I'd agree that pre turbo is most important.

Id like to see that windshield mount setup....

I like, but no applications for a 2nd gen...

Generally speaking, you're not going to see any new products come out for a truck that is out of production.

I like the windhshield mounts better than the steering column mount. Since mine's a stick and the most gauges I'll ever go with is likely 3, I think the a pillar is a good choice though.

I'm going to start with EGT and Boost.

Grant,

If it was up to me, I would not put a gauge post turbo. Not worth it, won't help you monitor anything that can mean anything.

As far as adding another gauge, they make a column gauge pod, for up to 2 additional pods. Geno's or someone else sells it. EGT, and Boost are givens, but for your year truck, I don't even think that Fuel Pressue is necessary, the newer Dodges did not have lift pump issues like the second gens.

You could use the additional hole in the gauge pod for the Oil Pressure gauge you want to run.

I run all three, but I have a second gen, and need watch the fuel pressure, due to the fact that the 2nd gens had issues with lift pump failures.

I like you need a couple more gauges, one for the Onboard Air system I am running. (Have the Kilby York bracket for the ISB Motor) :D

Just my opinion.
