OK, I just bought a Ford F-350 Dump, got a screaming deal on it, but need a reese hitch for my utility trailer. What hitch would fit on this?

Thanks in advance.

I went to NAPA and got a class III hitch from them for our F350 dump. Was about $160, bolted right on and has a 10k lb capacity with a WD hitch. Just be sure to tell them it's for a dump frame and not a reguler bed frame. Not sure if there's a difference but they listed 2 different hitches for them. If in doubt take the truck you want to put the hitch on out and let them look.

Yep, you'll likely need one for a cab & Chassis frame. To make sure look at the framerails, if they're straight from the cab back then it's a C&C frame.

shaggy has it right...

ALSO please try to find a class 4 hitch at the min. they are more suited for a trailer that may be used with a dump bed...

What's the difference between the class III and IV? AFAIK it's just weight rating. If you aren't towing over 10k lbs with a WD hitch why waste money on the class IV hitch?
