If you are talking about the tongue jack any camper supply place should carry them. My father in law got one for his 30' camper. I think it was about $260.

ehh, i should have been more clear....

this is a 21K lbs Goose neck trailer with two 10k Drop leg jacks...

i think ill call kaughman up and see how much it is to add the option i "didnt think i would need"....

i just had a cortizone shot in my right shoulder and am now having problems with my left as well... so no more cranking for me if it can be avoided.

Since a lot of us aren't getting any younger....and muscle aches and shoulder soreness is no stranger to most of us cranking GN jacks....here is what I did.... I bought a couple deep impact sockets, re-engineered the openings by adding slots to the ends to fit over the shaft ends after removing the jack handles....used an electric impact gun.... and...PRESTO>>>NO more problems raising or lowering the jacks anymore. What if I am out in a field and have to drop the trailer? No problem...I use the 12v inverter in my truck to run the impact....or I just fire up the portable generator to run the impact and lights if its dark outside. There's always a way to rural engineer(REDNECK) your way around any problem.

Good idea. Some high end RVs that are not quite "high end" enough to have automated/electrical jacks come with a high-torque cordless electric drill. I think it was Yellowstone that was including an 18V Dewalt for a while in theirs. My father, who owns and RV sales/service, still has one he uses around the lot...

i think this would be bad on the jack gears though....
i am still looking for some jacks, but i have not had much time and zero dollars the past couple months, i will post an update when i get one. im thinking on just adapting them to a two speed deal. that should take a LOT of stress off my shoulders. once two speed i might be able ot run a high torque 3/4 chuck drill to run them up and down, but will look into it more first.
thanks for the input though.

find out when my MRI is tomorow...!!

You don't have to crank it so far when you drop the foot down first. :doah: :D

awww, come on now... give me a lil bit o credit... :stir:

i got it figured out though, i can crank half as much if i just inflate my air bags ALL the way to 100lbs, then drop the legs down, the crank it up a couple inches, then drop air pressure down to almost nothing.

MUCH easier.... waytogo

Now i need on board air....
