As much as i hate comcast and how many times I am in an "outage area", its still beats AOL. Granted that's not saying much, but still.

2 tin cans and a string beat AOhell, yodling from one hilltop to another hilltop beats AOhell. I don't even use AOhell and I hate it because every screwed up computer I get to fix has AOhell and enough spyware to make the CIA blush.

Finally got everything dialed in on Sat night, the modem was shot and I had a firwall conflict.

Just curious if the "hate comcast" thing was a result of bad customer service or some other ISP issue. In Colorado Springs, Adelphia was bought out by Comcast and I will be changing (whether I want or not) to Comcast sometime in the next year. I've been debating about going to DSL when it becomes available in my neighborhood since I'll need to change my email addy anyway.

Mostly bad customer service as they didn't show up and wouldn't come back out that same day.
