Gonna build a flatbed/rack/hitch for my truck across between a offroading and more useful style bed. Any ideas? THANX!

I always like the "back rack" style utility racks for lights and CB antennas. incorporating something like that would look sweet IMO.

I've done extensive research. I have a bunch of different pix on my comptuer at home and at work. This should be a heck of a bed when I get around to it. Wife is having a baby Wednesday, and I have broken stuff (can't keep it between the lines anymore) to fix before I get to the bed, but it'll be saweet, just wait. Maybe I'll draw up some ideas.

back where I used to work, this girl I used to work with was one helluva welder... anyhow, she cut the center outta her regular vaned headache rack and got creative with some rebar and angle... came up with an awesome double T (as in texas tech university) where she was a student... then tied it all together into the sides of her flatbed with 1" square tubing as a slide guard that dropped down and merged with her custom built bumper... said her daddy taught her how to weld when she turned 12 to help him out building windmills...
I don't have any pics... of the truck or the girl... but on her first day at work she came into my tool department and bougt a DeWalt 5 pack 18v tool set, "Cuz I had to leave all my daddy's tools at home". I miss her. She was cool.
anyway, what does this have to do with your thread? nothin... but if you'll go home and ask your wife what she thinks, then it might kinda sorta in some weird way tie in...
