I know, I don't want the push button either, but I need leather with the little one and for who knows why you can't get leather and the manual t-case shift, what the hell?

Alright , that is a good reason and I fully understand the need for leather with a little one along for the rides.
It's a shame that the auto makers take option packages to an extreme level and don't offer more leeway when specing a vehicle out to order.
To answer your question I have not heard of any complaints about the electronic portion of the 273 case.

You could get leather with the 2GJ package without the push button 4x4 on a '05. Did they drop it for '06?

I am going to try and spec one out this Sat to find out all the packages and options etc.. it is real confusing.

Go to Dodge.com, look under trucks, then under specs and expand all. It will show what is in each package. You can get leather without ESOF but you give up the fancy stereo and some other stuff.

You know.....ordering a truck should be like ordering a deli sandwich.
You get a piece of paper that lists EVERY option you could possibly get on your sandwich....you then proceed to check the box next to each ingredient that you would like to have. Would work for me... :doah: rotfl

But ordering a truck then would be like ordering a new Pete, Every one is a custom order. :doah:  :stir: waytogo

OK, just got back from the local Dodge fleet dealer (by the way counted about 6 or 7 NV5600 trucks on the lot) and it looks like you can not order leather with man t-case shifter for 06
Also, new for 06 you can not order a sport (now called TRX04 offroad sport) with leather at all.
Soo, looks like I can get offroad/sport with manual t-case shifter and power sunroof/power rear slide window etc. basicly everything but leather with that package, so may just do that and wait till kids ruin it and then have it redone in black leather down the road.

Have you priced a quality leather recover? Still, if you want nice leather, that's really the only way to get it anyway. The automotive leather is no where near as nice as typical upholstery grade leather...

Get the truck youy want and put those "wetsuit" seat covers on the back seats. The little ones are suppose to ride in the back of airbag equiped trucks anyways.

  That really suprises me. Most of the sport trucks that I have seen are equipped with leather. I take that as most people that want a more luxurious model want the better sport appearance and only want leather, since it's the typical "loaded" thing to have. I guess.
