I am about to buy an 04 crew cab, 4x4, duramax with 47000 on the tab. I have done some reading about diesels but I never had one. The truck is GM certified and is been offered by the dealer. It is LB7, and seems to be clean inside and outside. How 28500$ sound? I apprciate and help and also any tips.

Go to Dieselplace.com and ask the techs to run the VIN for you. This will give you a better idea of the service history and the guys there can probably give a better guess as to price on it.

Shouldn't an 04 have the LLY ? :dunno:

The LLY was installed in vehicles that were produced from January '04 and on. (give or take a couple of weeks)

Just curious, did you ever pick this truck up?
