Okay, I've got a line on a trailer with the following info:

Specs:
- About 12 years old. Hasn't been registered since 01.
- Had new rear axle just prior to being taken off road.
- 10K equipment trailer. Was used to haul Skid-Steer.
- Dual 7K axles w/ brakes.
- Width is 78".
- Lenght approx 18'
- Flatbed bumper pull w/ dual ramps.
- Comes w/ Spare.
- PO will have company mechanic go through axles/brakes to ensure working.
- PO will have mechanic ensure all light working via 7-way plug.

Needs:
- Needs 2 tires
- Doesn't have battery break-away.
- Deck might last 1-2 years. Pretty bad wood.

Knowing the above info, is it worth $500?

Also, with the 78", is this wide enough to haul my 90 K5 w/ 1-ton axles & 38's? This is what would be on it almost all the time.

COMMENTS/SUGGESTIONS? Thanks.

No, it is not wide enough. Atleaset my 72K5 would be hangin off both sides. I have a 83" deck and I squeeesee thru the fenders just barley.
I would keep looking for a 83" deck...

I'd be pretty interested in it if you know anyone coming to UT.....(UROC or something?)

When my fenders were stationary and 83" apart, I still had to run over them with my K10 on 38" Tires. I built removable fenders and it now fits between the tires without any trouble.

My trailer is 75" wide. I can fit a 1 ton K5 with 38" boggers or my stock K5 with 31" AT's just about the same. Either way I end up driving over the fenders. It is fine with a rig in good shape, but when the motor doesnt run or the steering box is ripped off the frame... It can be a lot of work to load/unload.
