I am looking for a fuel pressure gauge for my 01, i have autometers ultra-lite trans temp, boost and pyro but when i went to order the fuel pressure on summit it says that it is not designed for use with the dodge diesel. What is the issue? Summit part # ATM-4361.
Thanks

I believe they are having problems with high pressure spikes or pulses from the vp-44 that are destroying the sending units. I have an autometer pro comp fuel pressure guage and have been having some problems (they told me I wasn't the first), they are working to get me a setup that will work but I'm sure they are losing to much money replacing the units. I would like all of my gauges to match but if we don't get something to work soon I'll have to find another fp gauge that looks similar enough as not to be noticably differant.

well if autometer is having a problem, I bet MOST everyone else is going to have a problem with the sending units (I doubt that AM makes their own sending units).

Is there a Mopar aftermarket gauge that matches the factory gauges as an option? Would be the best bet I guess to go for matching....

Try looking at Geno's Garage web page. I put an alluminum cap on my fuel filter that has a NPT in the top. I mounted the sender on this. I have had no problem with this set up once I got the air purged out.

There is not a mopar matching gauge, but Isspro makes gauges that very very closely match the factory dodge gauges. Thats what Ive got, and while I havent installed them yet, I am going to next weekend. My FP gauge will be installed using a banjo bolt on the CP3 injection pump, to measure post filter pressure.

Same set-up I'm running, except I use a DiPricol Fuel Pressure Gauge in an SRT/10 A-Pillar.
