I have to park my truck outside since it's way to big to fit in the garage. I don't drive it much during the week so I was thinking about getting a cover for it. Anybody have any suggestions on what kind of cover to get, and who sells covers for tuna boats with training wheels and camper shells?
Just keep it waxed. After a whole year of sitting outside, I claybar'd and waxed mine last weekend and it looks brand new again. And it's black! I would be afraid that if your truck was at all dusty, eventually the corners and such would get scratched sitting out in the wind with a cover on, regardless of how nice the cover is.
I would also say stay away from covers. They tend to wear the paint on their own, and also trap sand just to make things even more abrasive. If anything, get one of those free standing carport/canopy type things (like I keep the truggy under to work on).
If you are using your truck daily and keeping outside after use then its required that you use truck covers of good material which keep it protected.
I suggest you the material that is designed for the outdoor storage like "Stormproof". It's custom-fit for your F350.
