I had a guy call me the other day about moving a overweight piece of steel. I went and moved it yesterday back to one of his storage facilities. low & behold this guy has everything, & I mean everthing from the kitchen sink - laser welders - recycled concrete block - every truck size on the planet. we got to talking about older KW's he said he has 2 82's, 1 cab over and he had to have a conventional to match it. so he found a W-900 at an auction to go with it. well long story short he's willing to let the W-900 go for a real fair price. I talked to a friend yesterday that knows the truck & was the one that drove it home from the auction. he's telling me that it's in good shape for the year. I have always wanted one of the older bug eyed W-900's. I think it would make a good spare truck for when the W. Star goes down. besides when it's not being used it's something I would like to mildly customize. if I get a chance this week I'm going to go check it out. so far what I do know is 10 Alcoa's, new steers 95%, 80+% on the back 8 caps (hate caps), 3406 kitty, 13 spd, 8 bag KW suspention, dual stacks, 36" sleeper, paint is in decent shape & drives good.
9Second, I have a company slogan for yall. Answer the phone "You call it, we haul it" "If we can't truck it, mother**** it". There's an oldie but goodie. How about those truck pics of yall's StarCar?
Very sweet looking truck in the pic. Even parks on plastic, must wrap it up at night? rotfl Sorry lame one.
Nice ride. Is that your trailer too? That is one bad ass set-up ya got there. That headache rack and tanks must be a bitch!!??
mine all mine... well the bank owns it.:doah: as for the polishing it's a piece of cake, the hardest part is signing my name at the bottom of the check. actually the guy that does it treats me fair, wash, wax, & polish everything that shines for $475, about 3 times a year.
That's how ya keep 'em looking as cherry as yours. Good deal for a detail of that magantude. (ooh big word, too bad I cant spell) Anyway, nice ride keep up the good work.
475 my god man i cant even part with 80 bucks to get my truck detailed lol i couldnt even imagine that but then again ive never had to clean up one of the big rigs and im sure its a chore
LOL hell it costs over $600 just to fill up, last year I spent more in fuel than many people make in a year.
I'm not sure. This truck has had quite a bit of work done to it. We bought from a guy in Pennsylvania who restored it.
