I have a 2004 3500 2wd dually quad cab. Can anyone tell me if a 2 inch leveling kit will raise my front end to the same height as a stock 2004 4wd dually quad cab? Thanks very much.

Thank you RJF. That was the info I needed. I want to make sure I will have enough room for the 22.5 Alcoas. American Force Wheel in Miami, Fl said the 2 inch kit would do the job. I plan to go down there next week and get the installation done.

Thanks Full Pull. That's what I was looking for. I am on Turbo Diesel Registry and Dodge Diesel Resource forums. Is your 4wd only about 2 inches higher than your former 2wd? When I have the 22.5's installed, I am hoping the truck is almost level with a slight forward rake. Currently, the forward rake is very pronounced in stock configuration.

I would think it would take more than a 2" leveling kit on a 2wd to clear 22.5's. My truck barely clears 33's and it's a stock 4wd, about the heigth your 2wd would be with a leveling kit, I would think anyway.

Then it was a dealer add on, or he put them on. Stock late 2nd gen 4x4's come with 265's from the factory.

older dodges ( 97-02 ) fit a maximum of a 33" tire depending on backspacing with no leveling kit. a newer dodge ( 03-06 ) will fit a 33" tire stock regardless of wheel backspacing. They will fit a 35" bfg a/t because they are much smaller than other 35" tires. A newer 2wd dodge 3/4 to 1 ton will fit 255/70r22.5's with a "leveling" kit because with the adapters and the backspacing of the semi wheel, the tire is completely inside the fender well. It will rub and some trimming will have to be done, but they fit just fine.
