Ugly, but not as ugly as the Avalanche!

Yes, they are ugly, IMHO. (Although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess). I also don't like there new ad campaign. It sounds very deceptive. "For years, this part was on trucks, but now we put this part on..." What are they doing, comparing their truck to ten-year old rigs?? Give me a break.

But as ugly as they are, they aren't as ugly as the tuperware truck that chevy puts out--the Avalanche! Evidently people like them, but I just can't see the appeal!

Ya, i like how they say "on these trucks, they had a 4 speed automatic (probably refering to the 2nd gen Dodge), you asked for a 6 speed automatic, and we gave it to you!" WOW that is really dumb. I also think its funny how they make it seem really tough but its just a foriegn peace of crap! rotfl rotfl rotfl

Yes, it's ugly. It's mainly that name plate that turns me off.

I actually like the '08 Super Duty body thank you very much.

I wouldnt call the Tundra a piece of crap for your smaller loads it works wonderfuly now for larger loads its not so great my wifes is a blast to drive,it honestly a sleeper for sub compacts,as its got power all thru the band and a bonus is the mileage better than any american V8 I have seen come off the lines.I have used and abused her truck I jumped quite a few times and the front end has yet to come out of alinement unlike my SD.Heavy hauler no but best for the folks needing a truck for weekend projects and lighter loads I have met one guy who runks 10K of boat on his and it worked great for him and the driveline seemed to be holding up just wonderfuly.

Yeah I like the new ones the 5.7 should be a power house esspecially if TRD comes out with a Super Charger like the 4.7 has I think the Tundra looks better than the new SD but I would much rather have the new interior from the SD.

Im an American so I will only consider buying American vehicles...call me old fashioned. Plus I dont care how great the new tundra is...It wont tow a 40' Gooseneck so it is automatically worthless to me

With one single exception - the mid to late 90's Camry - Toyota has made nothing I would want to drive - I think that they are all ugly. I think that they make a fine car/truck/CUV, but if I don't like to look at it, I don't want to own it. The Lexus' are even worse in my book.

I know kinda a shocker but I really like Toyotas attention to detail and service they have been wornderful to my wife and they got a 100K warranty for a gas engine vs US mostly 36K gassers.

These trucks are built in texas while most of the chev trucks are made in Mexico, which one is most american? Within the next year Toyota will have at least a 3/4 ton and with in 2-3 years Isuzu engineers will have built them a new diesel.waytogo

    Exactly!

Its kinda of crazy that the vehicles that used to be imports are now domestic and vise versa. I had a chance to test drive the new tundra 3 weeks ago during a ride and drive and let me tell you that alot of you big 3 people will thinking about a new pickup.
