Insurance?

    What kind of added insurance do you need to hotshot?

    Think you need a DOT number and correct me if I'm wrong, That's requires a million dollar policy?

    You need the insurance in place in order to get your MC number.

    I use to be a HOTSHOTTER a few years ago before the rules/ laws got so bad. I did it for 2.5 years insured by the GRACE of GOD and nothing more.

    I would not recomend this path. it caused too many sleeepless nights( scale houses and DOT goto sleep after dark;) burnout ) when the sun went down there was nothing but road dust and diesel fumes!!!!!!!:cool: :cool:

    the more ins. you have the easier it is to get loads however

    yea i would drive at night mostly too... isnt the new law $1 per LBS over weight?

    Ahh, we've probably crossed paths a few times...friends call me "the renegade" nothing but the grace of the good lord and a prayer under my butt, MANY sleepless nights is right man, loaded at night, unloaded by 8am, back on the road empty headin homewaytogo
