Brake controller decision

    I am getting a new one ton Silverado and plan to get the integrated trailer brake controller offered by Chevy, and not move my Prodigy controller over from my Dodge truck. Seems to me that this would be a good choice since the new controller would be integrated with my ABS truck brakes. Which I assume the Prodigy controller does not do, if I understand how it works correctly.

    Any reason that might not be the best idea?
