I am switching to Amsoil and wondered what everyone else is using in there motor . The 15w-40 or the 5w-40 . I read the 5w-40 was for the newer engines with emissions on them , but is it ok for the 6.0 . I just want to make sure I choose the correct one . Thank you .

I use the Amsoil 15-40w severe duty, seems to work fine. I go 20k between oil changes. I use Donaldson oil filters.

    Exclusively Amsoil Here...........

I use the Amsoil brand exclusively....................during the towing season (37' 5er) I run 15W-40.............in the off-season, I run the more fuel conserving 5W-40. I also just recently started using the Amsoil Bypass filtering system and oil analysis. waytogo
