I've got a 20' Mirage excalibur car hauler, I us it mostly for carrying my tools around, but it does make it to the track once and a while to haul my broke ass Mitsubishi home :doah:
2005 25' Puma Travel Trailer I tow a 25' Travel Trailer and the GVWR is 9000 lbs. loaded every weekend! waytogo I tow with a '07 Ram 1500 with the Hemi!!!
what kind of trailer I have two trailers , depends on the kind of load I want to haul, see pics, also have a 33 ft terry travel pull trailer for leasure time{when ever that is }.
I've got a 32' Rockwood travel trailer. Easy for the TBI 350 to pull, but really hard on the suspension (1k lbs TW on a 1/2 ton Burb, OUCH!). Beautiful trailer, I'll try to get pics soon.
I pull a 35 ft HitchHiker fifth wheel that is around 16500. Pull it about 8 to 10,000 miles per year.
I agree, I have a 19' deck +10 hyd. beavertail with electric/hyd. disc brakes on 2-12k axles with load range "G" tires. I'm adding a Warn 15K winch right now in case one of my armored military vehicles decides it doesn't want to take a ride behind my '08 F450.
36 ft 5th wheel most of the time, sometimes I have a 2nd trailer carring the ATV behind that. 14000 to 15500 lbs 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Quad cab
Update Took the toys the the EAA/Arlington Airshow in Washington State. My first heavy haul and the F450 and trailer performed flawlessly. This load had my GCVW over 35,500 and the 450 proved to be a pulling BEAST. Armor (spelled Armour 'cause it's a British tank) is heavy . . .
20 foot car trailer with a 2 foot dovetail (22feet all together) will be pulling my camping/hunting/offroad trailer once im done building it.
Bringing this back up. I've had a few more trailers since my last post in '06. This was my 18' car hauler I had, it had a winch, drive over fenders, etc.. I traded it for this 24' gooseneck that I added a winch to.
