    american axles and manufacturing.

as far as i read on the site they have nothing to do with eaton, but do supply a lot of stuff to GM. the plants they started in and are still in 3 of those 5, were all bought from GM in 1992 by a former Crystler CEO and his investment team. they have grown SWIFTLY since then...

15-16 avg running 50K highway to work every day. (100K round trip) but diesel is 1.22/litre(4.88 american gal.) so it seems a little pricey.

My next one would be an F650 six-door with a 700-1000hp twin turbo Cummins and a billet transmission from Suncoast with a Gear Vendors under/over.

    07 3rd Generation

If I was buying, I'd love to have a 3rd generation Dodge with a 5.9. Doubt there are any new ones left, so I'd probably have to go used. I don't want to have to deal with all the emissions stuff. I think the new ones have to go through DEQ here in Oregon. The 5.9s do not....Also, it would be a 6 speed manual. No more auto's for me....

So my wish came true and Dodge got it right with the cabs. Sold my '06 today so a 2010 is in the works sometime next year. Until then its my old 77!
