Wow, That makes me a "Plankowner" here for the 6.7L Scorpions! I Love my truck, The power for being stock is amazing! The comfort level for a truck this size is very impressive. Mpg's are better than expected, 17-18 in town ad 19-21 hwy. and she weighs 8100 lbs. After 2 bad engines, Ford, by doing it in-house, has a real winner here. How do you like your rig???
Sorry to hear that, it looked like it was a Beast! Any plans to get into another Diesel??? Lots of good deals out there to be had.
My nephew has a different outlook.....he had only a few problems with his old 7.3 but his 13 is in the shop on a regular basis...so far a couple dpf issues and then a turbo...now it's in for a rear end...they tried to say he was towing to much but he hasn't even gotten the hitch installed yet. You get good and bad with all of them, he's going to trade it in on a 14 and give it a try before he makes a change he says.
That sucks when you buy a new truck and have problems right away, hopefully they give him a good price on the trade in.
Yea that sucks but give a new one a chance.waytogo In '11 I upgraded to an '11 6.7 from a '97 7.3. Difference was AMAZING. Almost at 20K on the '11 now; Ol girl sits except for when I pull...
A friend of mine has a '13 F350 extra cab short box and hauls a 36' Cougar 5th wheel. He LOVES that truck. I rode in it with him and it was very comfortable (leather seats and all the bells and whistles imp: ). He has towed his trailer from Maine to Alaska and back twice with no issues at all.
I guess I make two Love my 6.7 only 60 k kilometers but has run great. Looking to possibly delete and upgrade right now.
Just bought a 2017 F350 4x4 cc Platinum. Haven't had a chance to put any miles on it yet. Right now I see that it is about 3 inches higher than my F250 was. May have a problem with bed to 5th wheel clearance. Any one know of any solutions?
