Anyone with a wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated right now. I need to haul a trailer on Saturday with my '93 f/s Blazer. I could use a powerstroke that I already wired but it's the old man's truck and he's not been happy with me lately.

It's already got a 4 pin harness so I've got stop/turn/tail/ground taken care of. I need to know if there's a good easy wire to tap into that's strictly a brake switch. I could use a blinker wire on the existing harness but that would be ghetto and activate the controller whenever I hit a turn signal as well as the brakes. It's inertia activated so it wouldn't be that big of a deal but when it comes to towing I'm a prick about doing things the right way.

    Thanks in advance folks.

Yeah. there should be a switch on the brake pedal that activates the brake lights.

Yeah tap into the cold side of the switch. Use a test light and it should NOT light up until you push the pedal

hmmm... beats me on the color... I just ran mine straight off of the pedal... if memory serves me correctly, it's the higher up of the two wires on the switch.... can't be sure though without a tester... I don't trust wiring diagrams, use a meter.

Will do, sorry for being terse. It's finals week, I had to fix the burb that I took back to school, my normal truck is waiting at home with a dead starter, and I have to wire it for trailer brakes, unload my trail truck, and change my oil between the time I go home and 6:30 a.m. on Saturday so I can use my trailer to go pick up a frame.

    I'm just a smidge behind. :D
